Grass-fed tallow is the foundation — its fatty acid composition sits close to what the skin produces naturally, which is why the nourishment absorbs rather than layers. For lip care used multiple times a day, that matters: it goes in and stays in rather than sitting on the surface until the next application.
Beeswax and lanolin are what give the formula its staying power. Beeswax forms a breathable protective layer that holds through the day without sealing the lips off; lanolin works underneath it, locking in moisture with a particular effectiveness that makes it well suited to lips, which lose hydration quickly. The botanical oils — Kalahari melon seed, marula, baobab, mafura butter — soften and condition without adding heaviness. Vitamin E and rosemary extract support the formula’s stability over time.
The scent is peppermint and spearmint — two mint oils that are related but distinct. Peppermint is sharper and more immediate; spearmint is softer and slightly sweet.
